The HBF Run for a Reason tradition continued this year, but with one late out (Dermot with a shin fracture), and a brutal weather situation that tested Andrew's Mr Nipples first up in the half marathon, and had Amy and I sloshing in our sneakers by km 10 of 12. Andrew got an outrageous time of 4:03m a km for the half, and Amy and I… finished the 12km, without stopping. Ember Bath House afterwards was divine, and the Street Eats bottomless brunch really hit the spot!
The neon jellyfish at Pinot and Picasso is hands down the best sip and paint I’ve done, definitely doing a neon one again! And I had the perfect dress for it. The thrill of seeing what it looks like when the lights go out was so much fun, and it still looks pretty cool in normal lighting. I think Emma and I absolutely nailed it!

I unfortunately didn’t get any photos from the DIIV gig we went to at The Naval Store in Fremantle, it was fantastic, they are a great band to see live, didn’t even shoe gaze once.
I also didn’t get any great photos to share from the Murdoch CodeCrush event we just held at Immersive, but it was an amazing experience! A group of 50 people, made up of 30 year 8 and 9 female students and their teachers visited Immersive to see what being a software engineer is all about. I left work today with a full heart and a huge smile, and really hope we inspired some young women to pursue a career in STEM, and eventually join us in the future. The best thing was seeing how all of the volunteers from Immersive realised how important this event was and just gave it their all to make it something the visitors wouldn't soon forget. Fingers crossed it happens again, and we can be a part of it!
