NYE at The Garden

NYE was a fun day a night; we saw Avatar in 3D, the 3D was really amazing.

NYE at The Garden was fun, but pre drinks and after drinks at Amy's were funner. Can't go wrong celebrating with a great group of friends!

Will Street

Finally tried Will St with Andrew, it is such a good addition to Leederville! Even the octopus was OK (it was excellent, I just don't like octopus).

Beach Days

We've been enjoying the beach, hopefully get beach days well into March this year.

Mina's 100'th Birthday

Andrew's Birthday

It was a birthday celebration long weekend! Over a few days we celebrated Andrew with a stay at the awesome QT hotel, dinner at Double Rainbow, couple of fringe shows (Club D'Amour and Sinsuality), the Triple J hottest 100 (at Dave's house), and then had a family dinner at Lulu La Delizia.

Fringe and Perth Festival

This time of year is so awesome with a million things happening in Perth. We saw quite a few shows including:

• Club D'Amour (with the amazing Melina from Flying High)
• Kinetica's Sinsuality
• Ross Noble (with Sim and Rob)
• Hypnotist Matt Hale: Top Fun! 80's Spectacular - Krystal Georgia and I all got on stage and had a great time, all after Georgia, who had said going on stage would be her worst nightmare, asked if we could please go up
• Happy Endings (also with Melina!)
• Nara after Dark - Pond also played!
• Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde at His Majesty's Theatre - amazing performances, but man was I exhausted by the end

Serjana's Birthday

One night in Mexico! Or at least, Caballitos, and it's pole room. Was a wonderful night to celebrate Serjana!

Mdou Moctar

Andrew managed to get tickets for us and my dad, before they sold out incredibly quickly. We had a drink at Astral Weeks, and dinner at La Cholita before heading to the Rechabite. The show was absolutely amazing, with a great support by Yomi Ship. It was really cool seeing him perform, his voice and guitar skills are incredible to watch live.

Tracy's Last Day

Happy retirement Tracy!!! It was bitter sweet to say goodbye to Tracy, who has decided to create her last wiki page, and head off on an incredible trip. Immersive won't be the same without her laugh ringing around the office!

Agnes and Adam's Wedding

Congratulations to Agnes and Adam on their wedding!

Agnes's hens night was fantastic! We started the day with cocktails and games to celebrate Agnes and Adam, lead by Agnes's very well prepared friends and Big J, our lovely topless waiter who invited us to see his Fringe Festival show (Top Shelf Entertainment's Men in Uniforms) that night. In between we had a wine tour in the Swan Valley, and stocked up on some wine for later.

Big J's show was really good! Not one I would have picked, but really fun, definitely go with just your girlfriends. We spent most of the night pointing to Agnes ("pick herrrr!!!") who finally got pulled on stage as the big finale. I also got hauled up on stage as part of the tricky swing bit - it was actually pretty hard getting in that damn thing! The performers were all very professional and I was particularly impressed at how many audience members they got up and managed to involve in some really physically complicated ways - manouvering a bunch of drunk gals cannot be easy!

Andrew and I went down on the Saturday to relax a little beforehand. Drinks at Rocky Ridge were great, Rock Juice V11 was really nice (definitely earning that trust back after V9), and the food was good despite the chip shortage!

After a run along the beach, we had a big breakfast at The Urban Coffee House, went for a swim at the accomodation, then got ready for the wedding.

The wedding was at Tiller Farm downsouth, a wonderful place for a wedding.

The ceremony was just beautiful, I was so impressed with how well Adam and Agnes both spoke, and the dogs did a great job running around and showing off their flower collars. The food and drinks were excellent, with the owner explaining the origins of each of the dish's ingredients. You could really tell how much love and attention went into the food. We danced and drank into the night, especially to Pendulum! Slaaaammmm!

Man did we smash that Photobooth! Props to tall man Jeremy who managed to get me on his shoulders somehow.

The next day breakfast at Wild Hop was lovely, Adam and Agnes joined for a little, then a few us us did a wine tasting at Vasse Felix before heading back to Perth.
