It's been a busy couple of months!
The National and Fleet Foxes
The amphitheater at Kings Park was the perfect place to see these two bands. Fleet Foxes were amazing live, and The National sends more chills down my spine than ever. Bloodbuzz Ohio and I Need My Girl still hit so hard, and I will never ever not enjoy screaming along to Mr November.
Emma and Lockie's Wedding
So happy to get to celebrate with Emma and Lockie and the gorgeous Millbrook Winery. Their quantum entanglement themed vows were just the cutest!
Easter
An eggcellent easter with the family!
Big Dons
Finally got to try out Big Dons, it is absolutely worth the wait and I think waiting in line over a beer with friends is a big part of the experience!
Electric Islands
I actually don't care who plays, an EDM gig literally on the beach at Cottesloe is always a great time. This year Sasha played, who was really cool to see (I was obsessed with Airdrawndagger during uni), and Armand Van Helden was fun as always.
Gin School at Republic of Fremantle
This is a great event to do with friends, and this year we did it with these lizard legends to produce the spectacularly named "Distilizard" by Andrew, "Chamelegin" by Dermot, "Legless Lizard" by Amy, and mine, "Loungin'" (a group of lizards is a lounge, it's funnier if I explain it).
Malin's Going Away
Marlin is off on an adventure in the UK!
HBF Run for a Reason
Amy, Andrew and I did the 12km (Amy and I together, Andrew at his own insane pace), and Dermot did the half marathon, and as is tradition, we almost got into a fight getting out of the parking lot then celebrated at Pogo's bottomless brunch
Dermot's 40th Surprise
No way is this photogenic legend 40! The 4x 40th lads were all pretty surprised we were there to celebrated with them at karaoke, and I cannot believe it, the second surprise was that Andrew and I both actually sang (badly, but it happened). Dermot and Andrew did a fiery cover of Ring of Fire and Amy's rendition of Despacito was breathtaking.
Seinfeld
He was fantastic! So weird seeing someone that's been on the screen in your house all throughout your life in person. He really delivered, I think the entire sold out HBF arena love it.
Beer, Nails and Puzzles
Also squeeze in some interesting beers, various nails, and a bunch of puzzles.
