Down south with Amy, Megan, Gabby and Ria was amazing. We made the most of a potentially sad weekend by replacing disappointment with great memories. Pullman resort was lovely, I think we definitely made the most of the room (including dancing to The Prodigy for like 2h), the pool, the beach and the breakfast. Rustico at Hayshed Hill was a great mix of casual atmosphere with crazy good food, but take our advice (Ria's especially!) and go for the 1/2 glass, not full glass, wine pairings!
The Beerfest was another great freo festival, man those guys know how to put on a good festival. The theme of the day was NEIPAs, and James St Juice was our favourite of the trend. I'm still a bit sore about Holy Smokes for dinner; I double checked the loaded fries were vegetarian, but who knew I had to check they were gluten free too - they came loaded with macaroni! Holy macaroni!
After a crazy day of beer, we had more beer at Nowhere Man to see Michael off to Canberra where he'll finally get to put his law degree to good use, as well as cook Iva a good dinner! Luckily Michael and Iva will be back in time for Kate and Nick's wedding, so it wasn't a big goodbye just yet.
Tusk day is scene missing. Maybe 13.5% not missing at best.
Kate's hens night was awesome, who doesn't love the chance to draw a beautiful naked man.
iFly today with Krystal and Georgia was so much fun, I'm so glad we've switched to activity-presents rather than stuff-presents. Our instructor was Sam, who was the same awesome guy who took my dad and I a couple of months ago. The girls did really well, I don't think anyone laughed at us too much, except for Georgia's cat hands, and our goggle imprints!
