Perth has been pretty lucky to avoid any lockdowns for a couple of months, so after the lockdown at the end of our Up North holiday ended, we tried to make the most of it!
Amy and I did a Vietnamese cooking class at The Cooking Professor. The Pho was the highlight, and everything else was delicious, except for the curry which was disappointingly bland despite having heaps of ingredients, but overall we learned a lot!
We also did a group cocktail making class at Cocktail Gastronomy, which is walking distance from my place, so I have no idea how we haven't discovered it before. Our favourite cocktail was a Pampelle Spritz, which instead of Aperol (organge) uses Pampelle (grapefruit), yum!
Andrew and I went to the Ellington Jazz Club for the first time, and absolutely loved it. Still not sure if I'm a fan of the crazy type of jazz (Andrew is definitely a fan), but the music on the night was the nice kind. Oh and I'm mostly blonde now.
Tusk Day is back! We really missed it, and despite donating a jug to the floor (and lots of other things being spilled on Andrew throughout the day), it was a fantastic day of too many beers.
We did a Flying High photoshoot, I can't wait to see all of the photos! Will do a special post just for this one.
