Congratulations Sam and Ben! Had such a good time celebrating at the beautiful wedding in the Perth Hills. Sam and Ben looked a million bucks, and had some impressive dancefloor skills.

Melbourne
We went over for a wedding (congratulations Moana and Nathan!) and had a great time in Melbourne as always. Supernormal was incredible, I can't believe it was my first time there!
I had no idea the Myer Christmas display was a thing, but we went and saw it and it was... confusing. It was Irwin themed, which Santa only knows what that has anything to do with Christmas in Melbourne, but the details in the vet scene, down to the IV and little draws with equipment was... confusingly good? I don't know what to make of it.
A surprise sushi train lunch, and drinks at the Caretaker's Cottage and Eau De Vie was a great way to start the drip.
The wedding was just incredible, such a beautiful location and so much fun!
It's not a trip to Melbourne without meeting up with one of the founding members of the Beer Nerds, and sharing a beer, this time at Westside Ale Works.
The time flew by with more good eating, (magic) coffees, drinking, visiting the NGV, then it was time to catch pneumonia and fly home (it's no joke, I don't recommend)!
Lead up to Christmas
It's Christmas eve today and I think we've managed to snap into holiday mode pretty quickly, everyone was so ready for the break. We saw an incredible Waxahatchee show at the Astor Theatre (enjoyed it with no photos), and managed to squeeze in what's fast becoming a traditional visit to Tsukaya, with Biscottino for dessert, but we all secretly wanted whatever Santa was having.
Christmas outfit for my last Airspace class of the year, which very sadly was Zac's last day before retirement, which was bittersweet for all of his students who will really miss him!
Lunch at Gibney with Andrew's family was fanstatic. It's definitely a special occasion restaurant, but the service was perfect, and the menu is reflective of how showy everything is! Worth a visit, get a martini.
