Today Andrew went for the longest run he’s ever done in his life (27km) around St Wolfgangsee, the lake where we’re staying. I am so proud, it’s insane he made it the whole way in 5m 20s a km, the fastest pace I’ve ever run a lap of Lake Monger, and he called that slow! Incredible. He said it was magical, and got to see all the little towns and camping grounds around the lake. Meanwhile I did a little workout at the beautiful hotel because it was raining, and that’s enough of a barrier to stop me from running.
After breakfast, we drove to Hallstatt, the picturesque town 45m drive from where we’re staying, a touristy location but for good reason. It was lovely! But we were happy to come back and enjoy our accomodation on the lake.
When we got back, we explored St Wolfgang, had a local beer, then had dinner on our balcony and enjoyed the view.
